I want to thank everyone who turned out to the gatherings on the weekend and helped make them such a success. We are thrilled that Bairnsdale is going weekly, thanks to Basil Bader and Shelly Nundra's organising efforts. We counted 56 people at one point. As such, we'll be merging the monthly Stratford gathering with Bairnsdale for practicality. And don't forget Lakes Entrance, which is on on the 6th.

We have had a lot of new members in the Facebook group, welcome! Free Palestine Gippsland has been running weekly since October 2023 with its first gatherings in Traralgon. This group is run collectively and we share resources. Siobhan (pictured below with Dean) and I take care of the social media and communications.
Some housekeeping:
- If you would like to join the email list please email freepalestinegippsland@gmail.com. You will get an email Sunday mornings and occasionally during the week if there’s anything important to be communicated.
- If you are adding friends to please remind them to answer the questions or they won’t be admitted (you can just try again if you have been declined). This is so we can try and keep fake accounts out of the group or at least from posting/commenting. As we are a public group people are able to join freely, but need to be screened to comment or post.
- Please read about posting.
- At the start of each month a calendar will be posted in the group with the dates of gatherings. Please refer to this and check the events and respond to get reminders. Please avoid messaging us to ask when things are on, this information is already available. Events are created, weekly emails are sent out, and weekly reminders posted in the group.
- Bairnsdale has decided to go weekly after the resounding success of the first gathering.
This means Sundays you can attend Traralgon (1-2 p.m.) or Bairnsdale (12-2 p.m.)
