As the humanitarian crisis in Gaza continues to worsen for more than a year and a half, have you been feeling heartbroken but powerless? Have you been feeling angry but alone?
Join us at this year's "Gig for Gaza", and you'll be reminded that you are not powerless, and you are not alone. ✊🏻✊🏽✊🏿
Last year, more than 200 of us came together at the Kuranda Amphitheatre's little pavilion area to fundraise for humanitarian aid for Gaza. 🎶🕊🎶
This year's gig will be even bigger and better! 🙌 The music will be on the MAIN STAGE of the Amphitheatre 😯, and we'll also have fire-twirling 🔥, Bugzy Bumblebee's giant bubbles show 🫧, free face-painting 🥳, speeches by Palestinians 🇵🇸, delicious food 😋 and drinks at the bar! 🍻🍹(Yup, this year's event is fully licensed!)
We have an amazing line-up this year: Mau Power x DJ Vix, Lucy Gallant, Phat Love, Mojito, Bala Kaijo, JC (Funkdafied) Rainforest Rhythm, YIRGJHILYA, Satoshi, Stepaside and stand-up comedian Jay Wymarra!😍
Just as last year, all performers and organisers are volunteering their time for this event🥲, and every cent of the proceeds will to directly to provided urgently needed humanitarian aid in Gaza. 🚑 🥙 🩺
Come show your solidarity and blow some steam off with a day full of awesome tunes! This is a family-friendly event that goes well into the night for the real party lovers! Let the future generations see that we were on the right side of history here in FNQ! 🖤 ☮ 🇵🇸
