Members of Sydney's Kurdish community rallied at Sydney Town Hall on January 22 to protest escalating attacks on Kurds in Turkey, Iraq, Iran and Syria.

β€œAn injustice done to one person is a threat to the whole community,” said Democratic Kurdish Community Centre co-chair Gule Rose in a statement read to the rally.

She invited the broaderΒ community to β€œjoinΒ us in our struggle against all the oppression, torture, isolation polices and massacres”.
