Pauline Pantsdown was the highlight act of the ΒιΆΉΣ³» Weekly Sydney Comedy Night at the Leichhardt Town Hall on October 8.
More than 300 people packed into the hall to see her perform her famous songs Backdoor Man and I Donβt Like it to huge applause.
Other comedians who delighted the crowd included: Kirsty Mac, Suren Jayemanne, Carlo Sands and Peter Green. The night, with the theme of βHalal Certified Comedy: Please Explain?β was MCed by Helchild.
The event was suported by several unions, the Solidarity and Trade Union Choirs (who also performed), the Greens and other community organisations. The event's success gave a significant boost to the ΒιΆΉΣ³» Fighting Fund.
