Protesters occupied environment minister Greg Hunt's office in Melbourne on October 30, in protest at his re-approval of Australia's largest new mega coalmine β the Adani-Carmichael mine in Queensland.
Protesters hung a banner from the roof with βGreg Hunt: Minister for Coalβ emblazoned across it.
βIt is clear that our Minister for the Environment doesn't stand for the environment at allβ, said student activist Sam Dariol.
Morgana Russell, one of the occupiers, said: βHunt is acting as a rogue agent for the fossil fuel industry. We stand in solidarity with traditional custodians in the Galilee basin who have been fighting against Adani trashing their land.β
