β€œWhat was the Daily Telegraph even doing at an event like that?” a few people asked me after Tim Blair’s of ΒιΆΉΣ³»­ Weekly’s September 22 comedy fundraiser was the the subject of his Tele feature column last month.

The answer is simple; Bashing the left. If you can’t make Scomo & Co sound good, bash the opposition.

Abbott well roasted

Tony Abbott received a much-deserved roasting on the opening night of the Sydney Fringe Comedy festival on September 1. Unfortunately no actual fire was involved, but the prime minister β€” played disturbingly well by Jonas Holt (whose Abbott impersonation has featured on Weekend Sunrise and the At Home With Tones webseries) β€” was subjected to an amusing grilling.
